First, the recording you downloaded is a powerful tool. Listen to it everyday, and you will literally train your mind to help you believe You are Enough. First you will hear it, then the repetition will have you thinking it, and then
you will be what you think.
Its effective because 90% of what you think, the way you feel, and how you react has to do with habits, NOT choices. Sometimes it feels like those feelings you have come from nowhere, and you'd be right
they come from the depths of the subconscious mind. Your mind is like an iceberg:
So if the subconscious is responsible for emotions, why is it that most therapies only address the conscious mind? How is it that we can dive deeper and understand and get at the beliefs in the subconscious?
Well, the GOOD news is you don't HAVE to know. You don't need the rules, and you can just listen to the recording in the subconscious mind. But for those of you who want a deeper understanding of how your mind works, read on.
The Rules of your Mind*
1. Your mind loves and responds to repetition
2. Your mind thinks in pictures but this is conveyed to the outside world in your words
3. Your mind always wants to go from pain to pleasure
4. Your mind will always get you what you think you want
So the recording works because it repeats universally positive and pleasurable affirmations that the brain wants to hear. It's just protecting you cause it learned early on to protect you with those feelings and thoughts. Continuing to listen to the recording is like putting affirmations on steroids!
Even though I have found these rules to apply to everyone.. everyone has a different path and has a different representation of the world. But you can change the picture, change the thoughts, and rewrite the ending. It may not feel that way now, but keep on listening and trust the process!
