I'm Leif and I want us to overcome the stress and anxiety in your life. First, the recording you downloaded is a powerful tool. Listen to it everyday, and you will literally train your mind to help you believe You are Enough. First you will hear it, then the repetition will have you thinking it, and then you will be what you think. Its effective because 90% of what you think, the way you feel, and how you react has to do with habits, NOT choices. Sometimes it feels like those feelings you have come from nowhere, and you'd be right they come from the depths of the subconscious mind. Your mind is like an iceberg: So if the subconscious is responsible for emotions, why is it that most therapies only address the conscious mind? How is it that we can dive deeper and understand and get at the beliefs in the subconscious? Well, the GOOD news is you don't HAVE to know. You don't need the rules, and you can just listen to the recording in the subconscious mind. But for those of you who want a deeper understanding of how your mind works, read on. The Rules of your Mind* 1. Your mind loves and responds to repetition 2. Your mind thinks in pictures but this is conveyed to the outside world in your words 3. Your mind always wants to go from pain to pleasure 4. Your mind will always get you what you think you want So the recording works because it repeats universally positive and pleasurable affirmations that the brain wants to hear. It's just protecting you cause it learned early on to protect you with those feelings and thoughts. Continuing to listen to the recording is like putting affirmations on steroids! Even though I have found these rules to apply to everyone.. everyone has a different path and has a different representation of the world. But you can change the picture, change the thoughts, and rewrite the ending. It may not feel that way now, but keep on listening and trust the process! -Leif Rapid Therapy and Life coaching

Self care begins with language. What Is it you tell yourself? In the meantime before I begin The Examined Life vlog essays I will write here to begin discussions.
Joy Howarth's post on language inspired me: Amazing. For your consideration words themselves matter as the internal is directly expressed through the words we use. Do your words love and honor congruently who you want to be? If you yourself are interested in life coaching I now offer the ability to eliminate your limiting beliefs. Eliminate all negatives by turning them into positives. The mind does not understand negatives. Ex. I do not want you to think of a blue tree on a blue ski slope where a black Darth Vader and a han solo have a blue snowball fight. Not only do you have to visualize it, but it is also quite a foppish scene.. but seriously. The mind works only in words and images. So when you say anything your mind will make it so. You make your beliefs and then your beliefs make you. * Words are the beginning of all manifestations. So when you say this traffic is killing me, your mind will decide to associate pain with traffic.* Other great language hacks: You only have one but(t) and it's just fine. Whenever you use but, you negate everything that came before it. And that is a buttheaded move. Example I love her but I could never be with her. It means simply the truth in language is: I could never be with her. Now replace but with though or eventhough (thoughts arise like butterflies..;) and equal energy flows through the sentence without imposed limitation: I love her even though I cannot be with her. Finally eliminate the word Should especially when dealing w your opinions and advice to others. You should take that class. Nothing turns the mind against itself more than limiting language. So in conclusion, these techniques come from books like Slight of Mouth or the art of Persuasion and from a study called NLP or neuro linguistic programming that holds language alone's power to Express and manifest the world within. So the trick from nlp. An state change. I want you to Think about a time when you were happy, confident, or choose you own one distinct positive feeling. Now concentrate on what you saw, what your heard, what you smelled, and most important how you felt. Now find this feeling in your body. Where is it? What color. What energy? Imagine it coming out if your body and floating a few feet in front of your face. Now brighten it a bit. And now imagine it starting to grow to twice, three times, four times its size and more. And as it grows,flows, and its intensity get bigger, feel it amplify. Now spin it. When you feel that feeling, that absolute intensely positive feeling spin it and intensify it more. Take a deep breath and see that pure happy energy go into your heart and radiate through your body. And you cannot help but feel that happiness. So thanks for joining and reading.
